Your Unique Path

YOUR

Unique Path

Every career is a journey.

Every career takes its own unique path. Sometimes we make great leaps; sometimes we meander looking for the best path. And sometimes, we find ourselves sitting beside the road, trying to summon the strength and courage to carry on after a difficult stretch. It’s your journey, but you don’t have to travel alone. As I accompany you on this journey, we’ll use these questions as our guide.

WHAT HAS LED YOU TO THIS POINT IN YOUR CAREER?

Before we look to the future, it’s important to understand the past. When you retrace the path you have already walked, it can sometimes be easier to identify the right path forward.

WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO?

On any journey, it’s essential that we are clear about where we are headed. Even a little clarity will illuminate the next few steps in the journey.

WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES?

It’s never just about your career. Often there are multiple issues all tangled together: healthcare, income, location, risks, emotional and mental health issues, systemic bias, and family pressures. This process does not ignore the context of our careers, but it does offer a way to untangle them so that they’re manageable.

WHAT’S THE PLAN?

After tackling the previous three questions, it’s time to put together a plan for the next phase of your career journey. Whether it’s adding to your career toolkit, starting a business, mastering a new role, or looking for a new job, we’ll map out the steps and assess what resources you will need. Your journey is unique; your plan will be, too.
